Meet the Executive Team
Jennifer Krause
Jennifer Krause is the founder and executive leader behind BKG Construction Group, bringing disciplined leadership, operational rigor, and a deep understanding of both commercial and residential construction to every project.
Jennifer’s career has been built inside construction businesses, not adjacent to them. Over the course of her work, she has led and overseen every core function required to deliver successful projects — including project management, field operations, estimating, procurement, logistics, compliance, accounting, contract administration, HR, IT, and business development. This end-to-end perspective allows her to bridge the gap between planning and execution, ensuring that projects are not only well built, but well managed.
She previously served as CFO/COO for a prominent general contractor specializing in large-scale wood framing and multi-family construction, where she helped scale operations, strengthen financial and project controls, and launch a prefabrication manufacturing facility. That work improved quality consistency, shortened schedules, and brought greater predictability to complex builds — experience that continues to shape how BKG approaches construction today.
Since 2020, Jennifer has operated as a licensed general contractor in Washington State, leading residential remodels, additions, and custom home projects. Her hands-on involvement in construction planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution has given her a practical, working understanding of how quality is achieved in the field — and where projects succeed or fail.
At BKG, Jennifer leads a carefully selected team of experienced construction professionals, trade partners, and project managers who share a commitment to craftsmanship, accountability, and clear communication. While she sets the standards, systems, and direction, execution is carried out by skilled builders who are aligned around quality and long-term performance.
In parallel, Jennifer is the CEO of Stride Accounting Solutions, a firm focused on financial clarity and operational efficiency. That background gives BKG a unique advantage: projects are managed with a level of cost control, transparency, and discipline that clients rarely experience in construction.
Jennifer is known for her direct, collaborative leadership style and her belief that strong construction outcomes come from structure, preparation, and accountability — not shortcuts. Her focus is on building durable projects, trusted relationships, and a company that clients and partners can rely on year after year.
Outside of work, Jennifer is a dedicated mom of two who enjoys family camping trips, cooking, and being active in her community. Her vision for BKG is to deliver construction projects with lasting value while building a company culture grounded in integrity, professionalism, and pride in the work.
Jon Gaudet
Jon Gaudet serves as Senior Superintendent at BKG Construction Group, bringing a lifetime of hands-on construction experience and deep technical skill to the execution of every project.
Jon has spent his entire career in the building trades, working across custom residential construction as well as large-scale industrial environments, including oil and gas. That background has shaped a disciplined, detail-driven approach to construction — one that prioritizes precision, safety, and doing the work right the first time.
Highly skilled in finish carpentry and equally capable across all phases of a construction project, Jon has a rare ability to see both the big picture and the fine details that define quality outcomes. His breadth of experience allows him to anticipate challenges, coordinate trades effectively, and maintain consistent standards from framing through final finishes.
Jon is deeply committed to craftsmanship and takes pride in transforming client vision into reality. He is known for his hands-on leadership style, steady presence on site, and uncompromising expectations for quality. His knowledge of materials, sequencing, and field execution plays a critical role in ensuring that BKG projects are delivered with care, accuracy, and attention to detail.
As Senior Superintendent, Jon works closely with project managers, trade partners, and clients to ensure each project reflects the level of workmanship and professionalism BKG is known for. His experience and dedication help anchor the company’s quality standards in the field, ensuring that plans, budgets, and schedules translate into exceptional built results.
